Most people don’t put family and power in the same breath.
They think dysfunctional, broken, and weak. From my young adult years, sitcoms have portrayed us as weird, abusive, and comical. Powerful families were relegated to those who were mighty from their influence and wealth. This thought shows us how far the family unit has been pulled from its original design…a place of destiny building love.
Enter the Living Tale. I’ll be posting videos on its origin. Just know, it was this mother’s complaint to God nearly 25 years ago that there were no good stories to read to her sons that created her answer.
Little do we know our gripes point to our destiny.
If we want a strong healthy family full of love, destiny, and peace, then we are the ones to create those conditions. Not to spite anyone; on the contrary, healthy families build communities, they comfort the hurting, and they protect the vulnerable. Their multi-generational momentum sets their children up for success, which sets their city up for success.
The Living Tale Series: Henley & The Book of Heroes film is the beginning of this story of rebuilding families by healing a person from the inside out. Like Henley, you’ll see, it’s not where your start, it’s who you have on your journey.
See you on the inside!
